We are an independently family owned garage who offer many different services from tyres, exhausts, puncture repairs, brakes, car servicing, diagnostics, clutch replacement and much more.

Established in June 2019, we aim to put the old fashioned customer service back into Chorley for people looking to find a reliable garage to keep their car on the move.

We make it our goal to offer our customers great value for money and customer service without compromising on quality.

What a find this place was, helped me out last minute with MOT work after an astronomical quote from another garage. Lovely friendly family run business carried out the work quickly and efficiently at a very fair price, if you’re looking for any car repairs go to these guys, you won’t regret it

I would like to thank Paul and Amanda once again for going that extra mile to help us out and helping keep small local businesses running. After a days work running around the local area I realised I need new brake pads ASAP. At 4:55 pm I rung Amanda to see if she could get me booked in. She said “I can do better than that, come down now if you can” she immediately dispatched someone to pick up a new set of brake pads for me as I drove to their garage. By 6:30pm I had new brake pads fitted and wheels aligned without having to disrupt any daily appointments.A&P Motorcare ltd as far as I know are the only motor garage in the area that offer an after hours service and open till 8pm on Tuesdays which is fantastic when you can’t get to them in a normal 9-5 day.Thanks Again.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Paul is an honest and respectable mechanic and was kind enough to give me peace of mind as well as some much-needed car advice without a hint of judgement. Amanda is a delightful voice on the end of the phone and it is, overall, a lovely experience whenever I bring my car in here.

What a great find this has been. Had all my tyres replaced and this was done quickly and efficiently, at an excellent price too. I Had taken it back a year later as one of my rear springs had failed, I also decided to have a full service as well. Jobs completed to a high standard. It’s a nice family run business that cares about its customers and their vehicles. I can’t recommend it enough..

I have used this garage a couple of times now, first time being for a punctured tyre which they replaced the same day and second time for a full service, I’m useless as pre booking these things and so they squeezed me in last minute. Cannot fault the service provided, always cheerful and happy to help. I would recommend them to anyone, they were recommended to me and I will continue to use them.

Amanda & Paul are fantastic genuine people. They are straight forward and go to extreme lengths with help and advice. If they can’t help they will say so. They most certainly won’t rip you off or overcharge like some places do.A&P comes highly recommend, I honestly won’t take my car anywhere else now.

This garage is super friendly and efficient. I called in with slow puncture and it was sorted within the hr and another tyre bought for a v reasonable price. Great staff and brilliant service. Highly recommend this place. Thank you

A&P helped me so much with a car I have been cheated with. They sorted my car quickly and in afordable price and was reasy to use. Absolutely happy with their service and prices.Tyres been done as well. All quick. Amanda was extremally nice. I defo use them in the future!

had 2 tyres fitted today while i went 2 asda.met paul and his wife and son .very nice people .not only were tyres fitted they were tyre blacked .never had service that good before thanks

I can highly recommend A&P Motorcare.In my experience they go above and beyond to help their customers.I would always choose A&P for any issues with my vehicle from new tyres,to fault diagnosis and repairs, knowing full well they are not going to make up any problems, and always treat the customer fairly.In addition to having very fair prices and being super trustworthy they are a really nice group of people to deal with.I will be referring all my family vehicles their way moving forwards.Thanks guys!!

Didn’t want to have to leave this review (and looks like I’m in the minority looking at Google reviews) but lack of help from A&P to resolve has forced me to make everyone else aware. Had x3 Goodyear eagle f1 SS tyres fitted at A&P and paid for 2 wheel alignment on 29/04/22. Have driven approx 3k miles on the tyres since. Put the car in for MOT at ATS Blackburn on 11/11/22 and to my surprise the car failed on both front tyres worn down to the cords on inside edges. The tester point blank said it was down to poor alignment and all suspension was checked at time of MOT and flagged no play in joints to cause bad alignment. Therefore only one cause and it was bad workmanship from the tyre fit. Called A&P twice to offer them a chance to resolve, as well as ASDA Tyres (whom I purchased the tyres through) and no help provided. A&p say to take it up with Asda Tyres and asda tyres say go down the warranty route with goodyear. Nothing wrong with the tyres from a manufacture point of view, bad alignment service has caused this issue. Will inevitably end up a game of email tennis with no resolution. Had tyres done at another local garage yesterday to get my car through MOT and it became apparent that the rims had not been cleaned prior to the goodyears going on also. Little care taken by A&P and this highlights their attitude towards customer safety and satisfaction. Buyer beware.In response to A&Ps reply – A&P fitted the tyres and did the alignment which caused the fault. Not Asda.

Just a proper, friendly, family run professional tyre fitting and car maintenance business. I needed a full set of tyres for my series 2a Land-Rover and chose to use and support local tyre firm A&P Motorcare Ltd. During the fitting a problem with the wheel rims was discovered that neither I or Paul from A&P had any control over, the old rims were unsuitable for the new tyres. Without prompting Paul said he could sort out a temporary fix if I could source a new set of rims, which he would retrofit as a token gesture. I did, he did and now the old Landy is rolling on new rims and rubber. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending A&P Motorcare Ltd, they are just brilliant.

The BEST customer service I have ever had from a garage. Know their stuff, friendly, professional and beyond helpful. Being a woman I worry about going to garages in the fear of being ripped off but far from it with A&P they go above and beyond and 100% honest. I will be a returning customer for sure!

100% recommendation for any work you require on your car. A friendly service that uses quality parts at realistic prices. We got quoted £670 at a main dealer for new discs and pads all round which sounded step so went to A&P motorcare who fitted us in within a couple of day, used quality parts for £324. Absolutely fantastic. I won’t go anywhere else now. Thank you Amanda and Paul for a fantastic service.

Got my tyres changed at A&P Motorcare and the service was absolutely brilliant. Really friendly and helpful, offered great advice and kept me up to date with progress. Really great experience, will definitely be coming back here again!

In less than 24 hours I was booked in, two new tyres fitted and brake pads plus discs replaced. Excellent, efficient and friendly service. I will definitely be using A&P in the future

Excellent service! Took my car for 4 new tyres, Amanda is bubbly, friendly and warm and answered technical questions with ease. Paul is competent and professional, did an excellent job. Clearly a perfectionist and knows his oats! Highly recommended and I’m going back with my other car tomorrow for a puncture repair. Great company to deal with, thank you for superb experience.

I brought my wife’s car in for a new exhaust at 4pm and the chap apologised for not being able to do it the same day! Needless to say it was sorted by 10 am next morning.

The next visit was to correct a misfiring engine and although the diagnostic test pointed to a spark plug issue (which were then quite logically replaced) when the problem still persisted they replaced the coil pack and refused to charge any labour for the work and even gave me a lift home!

They deserve to succeed with customer service like that. I would not use any other garage now.
