TPMS sensors monitor the air pressure inside each tyre on your vehicle and can be either part of your tyre valve inside the tyre or have Indirect TPMS system which monitors the air pressure using the computer software system (depending on the vehicle) if your tyre pressures drop, a yellow warning light will illuminate on your dashboard.  All cars manufactured after 2014 are fitted with this system and if inoperative your car will fail its MOT test.

TPMS Maintenance

A&P Motorcare have extensive knowledge and can undertake the necessary checks required to ensure the TPMS system is working correctly, and if required can arrange replacement or advise on battery life.

If your light illuminates whilst travelling it is always advised to stop and check your air pressure in your tyres and book in with A&P Motorcare for them to check the system and your tyres.
